Norway's Tempel finally returns with the first new music since their 2019 debut. The self-titled debut album received praise from Metal Injection, Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Slam Magazine, Visions Magazine, Consequence of Sound, Revolver Magazine. "Blackout represents the band's musical development. More refined and catchy, but still riff-heavy and aggressive.

Blackout is written recorded and produced by Tempel. It has its roots back in 2016, and has been through several changes and processes. It represents the band's continual development.
